A China-loop create-to-release AI tool is now a public beta site (comparison note). Tencent Music’s MusicBuddy; copyright and pricing are not on the official pages

Tencent Music’s MusicBuddy site (musicbuddy.cn) is public. Official meta copy positions it as an AI chat path from idea through polish, release and promotion for musicians. No dated release on the HTML. Secondary reports around 22 September 2026 call it invite-only beta. Copyright, AI labeling, training data, price and public-beta date are not stated.

What happened

Tencent Music’s musician-facing AI platform MusicBuddy has a public site at musicbuddy.cn (assets on tencentmusic.com). Official meta copy: an intelligent creation platform for musicians, with AI chat covering inspiration, polish/release, and promotion. The HTML has no dated press release. Woshipm reported an internal beta on 22 September 2026; Cocoloop says login plus a beta list is required. No public-beta date is on the official pages.

What changed

The delta is a dedicated domain that describes a create → polish → release/promote loop. Multi-track DAW-like plus chat, natural-language instrument swaps, volume, reverb, lyric rewrites, one-click multi-platform release, and MV/poster generation come from secondary screenshots, not from the official meta tags.

Whose work this affects

Treat this as a China-loop create-to-release comparison note. It is not a clearance path for Japanese YouTube or game BGM: commercial license, credit, and training opt-out are not on the official pages. Copyright ownership, AI labeling, training-data origin, price, and public model names are undisclosed, so do not clear a job against it.
